Mr. Brannon grew up in Gwinnett County and graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Banking and Finance. He graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school he served on the executive editorial board as Notes and Comments Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. He also authored an article that was published in the Mississippi Law Journal which can be found at Recent Decisions, Constitutional Law Hate Speech First Amendment Permits Ban on Cross Burning When Done With the Intent to Intimidate, 73 MISS. L.J. 323 (2003).

Mr. Brannon began his career practicing law with a medium-sized transactional firm in Cumming. Prior to joining the Pollan Law Firm he also volunteered with the Georgia Senior Legal Hotline, a division of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
